Eine anstehende gr\u00f6\u00dfere Reparatur f\u00fcr die Betriebsleitung kam nicht mehr in Frage. Die seit 1987 bestehende Kl\u00e4ranlage reinigt \u2013 neben dem Abwasser der sog. Lechfeldgemeinden (Untermeitingen, Klosterlechfeld, Graben, Kleinaitingen, Oberottmarshausen, Hurlach und Obermeitingen) \u2013 auch die Abw\u00e4sser der auf dem Lechfeld angesiedelten Bundeswehrkasernen. Nach intensiver Marktrecherche seitens des Abwasserzweckverbands &#8211; insbesondere im Rahmen der IFAT in M\u00fcnchen &#8211; konnte sich das von Bellmer vorgeschlagene Verfahrenskonzept mittels TurboDrain TD-Basic durchsetzen.
