In Perris betreibt CR&amp;R die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Abfallbehandlungsanlage mit anaerober Verg\u00e4rung in Nordamerika. Hier werden die Gr\u00fcnabf\u00e4lle von etwa 20 Millionen Einwohnern in 19 Gemeinden der Countys Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, und San Bernardino behandelt.<br \/>\nDie Anlage setzt das Pfropfenstrom-Trockenverg\u00e4rungsverfahren des Anlagenbauers Eisenmann ein, um den organischen Anteil der Abf\u00e4lle in Biogas umzuwandeln, das aufbereitet und in das Erdgasnetz eingespeist sowie zum Betrieb der eigenen 400 Lkws verwendet wird.
