Aqu\u00ed se tratan cada d\u00eda unos 110.000 metros c\u00fabicos de aguas residuales. \u00c9stas pasan por las etapas cl\u00e1sicas de tratamiento &#8211; tratamiento mec\u00e1nico, qu\u00edmico y biol\u00f3gico &#8211; antes de ser vertidas al Neue Luppe. El lodo de depuraci\u00f3n resultante se env\u00eda a la digesti\u00f3n y ahora tambi\u00e9n se utiliza para generar energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica y t\u00e9rmica, as\u00ed como el importante nutriente f\u00f3sforo.<\/p>\n<p>Leipziger Wasserwerke est\u00e1 planifi cando importantes reformas para garantizar el tratamiento de aguas residuales del futuro en la creciente ciudad de Leipzig. Para garantizar que la planta pueda seguir cumpliendo con los requisitos t\u00e9cnicos y jur\u00eddicos para el tratamiento de aguas residuales respetuoso con el medio ambiente en el futuro, es esencial que el sistema de tratamiento mec\u00e1nico se renueve por completo y que el sistema de tratamiento biol\u00f3gico se ampl\u00ede para incluir un tanque de tratamiento.<\/p>\n<p>La conversi\u00f3n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en tramos mientras la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales est\u00e9 en funcionamiento.
