The mill produces long and short fibre pulp from birch, pine and spruce wood. Part of this pulp is used as raw material for textiles production while the remainder is used in paper production. In addition, the site has its own wastewater treatment plant, which treats wastewater from the pulp mill as well as municipal\u00a0 wastewater.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the customer invested in a new sludge dewatering line consisting of an FR3 flocculation reactor, AKSE S 175\/05 thickener and BX 400 LL-H screw press for primary sludge.<br \/>\nThe startup of the machines and employee training took place in December.
