The calender is equipped with a TurboRoll CC and a TurboRoll CN with PU cover and is designed for a maximum line force of 140 N\/mm. Existing rolls from an old system were used for this project. All other components such as the calender frame, doctors, drive system, hydraulics and control system were newly designed and manufactured according to NorPaper requirements. The existing rolls, 3 x TurboRoll CC and 2 x conventional TurboRoll CN, were overhauled by Bellmer GapCon in Willich and then had new covers applied by NorPaper\u2019s preferred cover supplier in France.<br \/>\nThanks to the good cooperation between the team around Bruno Epifani, Technical Director at NorPaper, and Bellmer, the project was successfully assembled and commissioned on time despite pandemic obstacles.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=&#187;20&#8243;][mk_gallery images=&#187;29042,29046&#8243; column=&#187;2&#8243; image_size=&#187;full&#187; hover_scenarios=&#187;slow_zoom&#187; margin_bottom=&#187;4&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#187;.vc_custom_1623068046819{margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}&#187;]Precision landing in commissioning and quality improvement.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=&#187;20&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#187;.vc_custom_1623068150570{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#187;]This was also confirmed by Norpaper\u2019s production manager S. Vigreux: \u201cThis new collaboration with the Bellmer team gave us once again full satisfaction, from the first studies, technical discussions, through set up until the start-up. This strategic investment took us few hours to see the paper sheet at the pope without any break during the NIP closing operation. We met the quality improvements we expected quite immediately.
