The company specializes in treating unsorted waste paper and various kinds of waste materials. Essential to the process is the preparation of recyclable packaging, such as mix paper, for conversion into a high-quality raw fibre material.<\/p>\n<p>After sorting and cleaning the fibre stock, it undergoes dewatering before being reused as raw material in paper mills.<br \/>Efficient dewatering is of crucial importance to reduce transport cost, maintain the quality of the final product, and help protect natural resources at the same time. Thanks to the use of innovative technology, including the AKSE S 175\/04 disc thickener and the AKUPRESS BX 800 LS-H screw press, Ecobulhart has now been able to reach optimum dry contents in the fibre stock. This allows for even more efficient use of the materials being recycled.<\/p>\n<p>In a first step, the suspended solids within the fibre stock become bound by adding flocculants in an AKUFLOC FR 3 flocculation reactor. During the next stage, the flocculated fibre stock goes through a pre-thickening process in the AKSE S 175\/04 disc thickener, where a large portion of the free water is removed. The final dewatering stage involves the AKUPRESS BX 800 LS-H screw press, which applies mechanical pressure to press the remaining water out of the fibre stock to achieve a high dry content of 55\u201360%.<\/p>\n<p>Close cooperation between Ecobulhart and Bellmer Kufferath Machinery GmbH made it possible to optimize the entire process.
