Bellmer supplied a broke pulper as part of the BM 1 rebuild at Metsä Board Kyro. The project went under the name HÄLLÄ. The name comes from a local rapid and waterfall named Hälläpyörä that was made known in the Finnish epic Kalevala.
The Metsä Board Kyro mill produces high-quality, fully coated folding boxboard for demanding packaging and graphic applications. The pulper was installed in July 2021 and started up at the end of October 2021.
Jarno Lehtonen, project manager of Metsä Board Kyro mill tells that broke handling pulper, Bellmer TurboPulper has been taken into continuous production without any disturbances.
Bellmer´s project manager, Jorma Mielonen, who also covered responsibility of installation supervision, operator training and start-up confirms that project went smoothly with the Metsä Board project team.
