Bellmer completes start-up of Stock Preparation Modernization at PIQUIRI
We are pleased to share another successfully completed project delivered in 2026, developed in partnership with Piquiri Papéis, a company recognized for producing paper from recycled fibers and for its continuous pursuit of process efficiency.
In this project, we worked directly on the stock preparation stage, considered one of the most critical areas for the final paper quality. The scope included the supply and implementation of a low-consistency cleaner system, designed to optimize the removal of mineral contaminants and ensure higher efficiency in the separation of fibers and impurities throughout the different stages of the process. The solution was developed based on rigorous engineering criteria, including mass balance calculations, definition of ideal consistencies for each stage, and flow rate adjustments, ensuring operational stability and high system performance. The project covered all process engineering phases, from technical surveys and flow sheet development to integration with the existing equipment. In addition to supplying the equipment, we carried out full project management, including installation supervision, commissioning, and assisted start-up, ensuring that the system entered operation according to the designed parameters and with maximum reliability.
