Sustainable water management with eight WinklePresses

The Cosun Beet Company in Anklam, northern Germany, can look back not only on a long history steeped in tradition, but also on impressive development in terms of plant-based solutions for a sustainable future. The processing of beet in Anklam not only produces white sugar, but also bioethanol, biomethane, animal  feed, etc. Bioethanol and biomethane in particular represent a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
There is no waste in the processing of the approximately 1.8 million tonnes of sugar beet from around 340 farms; all components are recycled in the best possible way.

The beet washing water, with all its components, will also be effectively dewatered and treated in future using 8 WPG 4 X angle presses in order to make optimum use of the resource-saving water cycle.
All WinklePresses were approved by the Cosun Beet project team in Niefern following their manufacture and assembly. Screw conveyors and discharge chutes are also included in the scope of delivery. Optimum conditions for the next sugar beet season!
