Sustainable Corporate Governance

Personal commitment

Bellmer has been successfully managed as a family business for over 180 years. This consistency and continuity is due, among other things, to the personal commitment of the founding family. For the current management – the three brothers Erich, Martin and Philipp Kollmar – the continuity and the passing on of the family business to the next 7th generation is also a personally driven responsibility. Corporate decisions are therefore always made with a view to the medium and long-term success of the company. Sustainable corporate management is thus part of the core and essence of Bellmer. The values and business ethics passed on from generation to generation play an important role. Integrity, fairness and partnership form the basis for dealing with customers, suppliers, business partners and employees. The cultivation of long-term partnerships is reflected here in all areas.

Healthy growth

Bellmer has developed very dynamically and progressively over the last two decades. Healthy growth was achieved in which the importance of the bioeconomy was recognized early on and relevant investments were made. Bellmer’s first international company was founded in China in 2004. This was the starting signal for further international expansion, which was continuously pursued in the following years. Starting from the headquarters in Niefern (Germany), the Bellmer Group today has more than 16 subsidiaries worldwide with a total of over 800 employees. Manufacturing takes place exclusively in Germany, Finland and the Czech Republic, thus ensuring high quality and reliable delivery times. The further locations act as a service network through which Bellmer can offer qualified service worldwide.

Certified quality management

Bellmer attaches great importance to sustainable corporate development and ensures this, among other things, through certified quality management.
Bellmer has been ISO certified since 1995. The current certification according to ISO 9001:2015 was certified by the independent TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH. It applies to development, manufacturing, sales and service of technical plants of the product fields Paper Technology and Separation Technology.

In regular audits, risks and opportunities are analyzed, current developments are reviewed and future goals and measures are defined. In this process, all work areas are included, from management, sales and service to purchasing and production. This ensures that all important key factors, such as customer satisfaction, supplier relationships and evaluations, capacity utilization, product quality and innovations, and many more, are taken into account.
