125 participants in Kotka on September 5th- 6th
Bellmer Vaahto Paper Days were organized in Kotka on September 5th- 6th in co-operation with Kotkamills Oy. The event attracted 125 participants – more than double compared to previous BV Paper Days two years ago. The absolute highlight of the event was a mill tour to Kotkamills BM2, Flying Eagle. Bellmer units from Finland and Germany have supplied all wet-end machinery and pre-dryer section including 3 TURBOVaahtoJetter headboxes, TURBOFormer Pro top-former unit, TURBOPress with tandem shoe and under-the machine pulpers BM2 honored visitors of Paper Days by producing new production record on the excursion day.
The key note speaker was CEO of Kotkamills, Mr. Markku Hämäläinen. He presented the project very detailed, but also shared very valuable information about market outlook and future scenarios of consumer boards growing demands. Most of the esteemed lecturers were experts from Bellmer´s business unit from Germany and Finland. Mr. Jaroslaw Pazio from Stora Enso Narew mill presented with satisfaction their huge packaging board project, which is equipped with TURBOPulpers made in Hollola Finland. Participants representing 10 nationalities received and shared lot of useful information, met old friends and get to know new faces. Business and pleasure were combined in a very unique way. The memorable Paper Days dinner was arranged in in restaurant Vaakku in beautiful archipelago of Kotka. Mr. Karl-Johan Lindborg, member of Kotkamills board of directors concluded Bellmer´s performance in his dinner speech: “Bellmer Vaahto has been the best supplier I have ever seen!”
