At the moment, we are seeing increased investment in board machines, especially in Asia. With 23 headboxes to be delivered worldwide by May 2022, Bellmer Finland has a record order backlog. Most of the orders come from customers with mills in China, Korea, Malaysia, India, Russia and Cambodia.
Bellmer Finland has responded to the increasing order backlog for headboxes in the Turbo series with an investment in a Mori Seiki CNC milling centre. The Mori Seiki CNC milling machine is mainly intended for the production of parts for headboxes, top formers and pulpers. The machine is intended for very effective high-precision series processing and is equipped with high-precision pallet and tooling equipment.
This investment will significantly strengthen Bellmer Finland’s machining capacity.
