Modernization of the TurboPress shoe press, TurboVaccum stabilizers, TurboFeeders and TurboCalender
Established in 1980 in Saila Khurd, Punjab, India, Kuantum Papers is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to environmental sustainability. Specializing in manufacturing premium-quality paper from agro and wood materials, the company emphasizes on resource conservation and environmental protection. Operating from a vast integrated facility spanning 259 acres, Kuantum annually produces over 150,000 MT of paper, featuring a diverse product range, including Maplitho, Copier, Specialty and Creamwove papers tailored for both, domestic and global markets.
To enhance production by 20% while reducing steam and power consumption, Kuantum has joined hands with Bellmer as its primary partner for the PM 4 rebuild project. This initiative introduces cutting-edge upgrades, including a state-of-the-art Shoe Press, duo stabilizer boxes with vacuum dryers, rope-less threading for unirun, tail threading conveyor systems, and a calender with an oil heating system. The anticipated delivery is slated for the end of 2024, with erection and commissioning scheduled for the fi rst quarter of 2025.
